The museum as a filmset
The archaeological open air museum Oerlinghausen fits perfectly as a location for film and photo documentaries. An episode of the German kids documentary 'Die Sendung mit der Maus' (German for: The program with the mouse) and a campy contribution on garbs and the industrial revolution were filmed here in the past. Even wedding receptions and photo-reportages were made here in the museum. Much is possible, please contact us!

Example 'Kaiser! König! Karl!' (German for: Emperor! King! Charles!) Shooting in Oerlinghausen
Street cat Charles goes on an explorational journey through history. How, for example, did the Romans, Greeks or Egyptians live? What happened in the medieval or in the modern times?
To find out how the Teutons lived, they also shot some scenes in the archaeological open air museum Oerlinghausen. Interested in how that went? Take a look at the homepage
